evaluating a company’s external environment..



Assalamualaikum..
This week we learn about factors in a company’s broad macro-environment that may have strategic significance. Every company operates in a broad ‘macro-enviroment’ that comprises six principal component. This is the figure  of the components of a company’s macro-enviroment:


  •   Politic 
  •  Economic 
  • Sociocultural
  • Technological
  • Enviromental
  • Legal and regulatory



          Besides that, there is 5 Forces Model by Michael E. Porter which contains of suppliers, buyers, potential new entrants, firms in order industries offering substitute products and rivalry among competitors sellers. In this model, we can evaluate by each of the segments in order to know the competitive advantages from the external environment and to develop the strong performance regarding on the evaluation.
